APRS Panel

Statement of Intent
for successful Visual Art Panel application at Associate level of the RPS

The images in my panel were taken when I was exploring some of the “less glamorous” parts of central London. Many of these places were run-down and the dereliction was obvious. I have tried to capture the sense of loss and marginalisation seen there, with people pushed to the periphery. Many of scenes depicted here can not be re-photographed. I have deliberately presented in a transition from colder blue to warmer brown tones in order to reflect some optimism for the future and the hope of regeneration.
