In Berkeley Square, before the London New Year’s Day Parade 2013, this bandsman is at rest with his instrument at his side. Shorty after the photograph was taken, he and his marching band would begin the parade, in Piccadilly. It would take about 3 hours to get from here at the start to the end under the shadows of Big Ben at Parliament Square.
